Why Wasn't My Trash Collected?
The most common mistakes that can result in non-collection are:
1. Putting your waste out too late
Collection begins at 8:00 PM. If you put your bin out even a few minutes after 8:00 PM, the waste collectors could have already passed by your door.
2. Bringing your container inside too soon
Collection is permitted to work late into the night. Depending on the volume, layout of the community, size of the community, it may take as long as 3-4 hours to collect all the waste in the community.
3. Not being within the guidelines and regulations
Always follow the guidelines and regulations. All waste must be bagged and tied and placed directly in the provided bin. The only exception are flattened boxes. Extra bags may be stacked on top of each other in the bin. Most management companies or owners do not allow bags to be placed directly on the breezeway floor as this can result in floor stain(s).
4. You set your bin out on a day when we do not pick up.
Please review the community waste collection schedule. A1 Valet does not pick up on federal holidays, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
I followed the proper procedures and my trash was still not picked up!

How Does Billing Work?
A1 Valet Trash is contracted by the owner or the property management company of your community. A1 Valet Trash does not bill individuals directly. You will need to direct billing questions to your leasing office. Our service is designed to streamline the waste removal process for entire communities. For this reason, communities we service generally do not offer individual residents an option to opt out of this service.
Why Is There an “Oops” Tag On My Door?
The tag lists the guidelines and regulations for using our doorstep collection service. If you received a “reminder” tag, this means you are not within the guidelines. If there are any fines involved, they are issued by, and paid to your leasing office. A1 Valet Trash does not collect or benefit from any fines issued to residents outside of the guidelines.
